Bird Watch : Bowling Green Marsh 15th October 2009

A very still day for our visit to the River Exe and Bowling Green Marsh on the 15th October.
Already there were 150 Avocets and Golden Plovers with Lapwings. Add to this Dunlin, Black and Bar-tailed Godwits, Knot, Curlew, Snipe, Sanderling, Redshank, Greenshank, Grey Plovers, Wigeon, Teal, Shoveler, and a few Brent Geese and one Green Sandpiper and it made an excellent afternoon's watching.
