Another rarity, another first for our area. On September 13th a Temminck’s Stint was found on the scrape at Colyford Common.  This truly is an amazing place.

The month of May has been wetter and latterly cooler than April, and there has been a good variety of birds around – some of them in spectacular numbers, like the 181 Dunlin counted on the estuary and about 300 seen off the coast.  (click here to view complete article)
